Why I Believe Breath Of The Wild On Wii U Is Necessary
As a longtime fan of the Legend of Zelda franchise, I was beyond excited when I heard about the release of Breath of the Wild. However, as someone who owns a Wii U instead of a Switch, I was initially disappointed to learn that the game would not be available on my console. But after playing through it on my friend’s Switch, I realized just how necessary it is for Breath of the Wild to also be released on Wii U.
First and foremost, there are many dedicated fans like myself who have been loyal to Nintendo and the Zelda series for years, but may not have been able to afford or justify purchasing a new console just for one game. By releasing Breath of the Wild on Wii U as well, Nintendo is acknowledging and appreciating their long-time fans and allowing them to experience this highly anticipated game without needing to make a major investment.
Furthermore, there are still many players who own a Wii U but may not have access to a Switch. This could be due to financial constraints or simply because they prefer playing on their Wii U.
